Myrtice Elizabeth Godfrey Sherbert, 80, passed away January 16, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Willie and Gladys Kemp Godfrey, she was a retired employee of Shriners Hospitals for Children and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Foster (Donald) of Duncan; a son, Jeffrey Scott Sherbert (Tina) of Liberty; two brothers, Alvin Godfrey and Harold Godfrey both of Greer; a sister, Iduna Beason of Greenville; two grandchildren, Jason Foster and Jonathan Sherbert and three great-grandchildren, Maggie Foster, Ty Foster and Liam Sherbert.

She was predeceased by one brother, John Godfrey.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Hillcrest Memory Garden, conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby.

Pallbearers will be Mike Talley, Tony Young, Jake Young, Cole Young, Payton Young and Jaxon Young.

The family is at their respective homes.
