Otis Eugene Johnson, 88, died May 30, 2016.
A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Gaines Benard and Martha Etta Hensley Johnson, a retired manager for Pet Dairy, a member of the Greer Church of God, and a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Surviving:
Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Betty Jo Pearson Johnson of the home; a daughter, Suzette Lynn (Wayne) of Taylors; one grandchild, Amy Rainey (Rev. Joel Rainey) and three great-grandchildren.
He also was predeceased by one brother and six sisters.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, June 2, 2016, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Joel Rainey, Rev. Wayne Nichols and Rev. Ron Nichols. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Lynn, Buddy Lynn, Barry Lynn, Samuel Rainey, Tony Shultz and Steve Howard.
Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary prior to the service.
The family is at the home.
