Charles Lee "Petey" Flynn, 81, widower of Bobbie Jean Bogan Flynn, died April 28, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Eli Columbus Flynn, Sr. and Cora Crawford Flynn, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of Flour Daniel and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Teresa Flynn Leonard of Greer; a son, Brad Flynn (Dru) of Greer; one sister, Eva Kimbrell of Greer; four grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Flynn, Ashley Burrell and Christie Staton; two great-grandchildren, Damion Bryant and Brayden Owens; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Flynn was predeceased by four brothers, E.C., Jr., Ben, Tommy and Melvin Flynn and two sisters, Lilly Smith and Mae Clark, one grandson, Brian Burrell and a special son-in-law, Mike Leonard.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Mike Miller.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 7:00-8:30 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
