Phil Hudson Parr, 84, of 219 Robin Hood Road, died June 5, 2013 at Laurel Baye.
A native of Habersham County, GA, son of the late George T. and Marjorie Church Parr, he was the retired owner of Parr Roofing and attended Lee Road Baptist Church. Mr. Parr was a Past Master of the Taylors Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.
Surviving is his wife, Marjorie Raffield Mason Parr of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, George Parr and Richard Parr (Jan) all of Taylors; one daughter, Elizabeth P. Ferguson; one step-son, Tommy Mason of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Linda Cannon of Taylors; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Parr was predeceased by his first wife, Beulah Mae Nicholson Parr, one son, Phil M. Parr and one daughter Terri Freeman.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Honorary escort will be the Rev. Otis Darnell Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be held 12:00-1:45 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
