Ray Donald DeYoung, 82, passed away October 22, 2018.
A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late George Washington DeYoung and Ruth Annie Christopher DeYoung, a retired employee of Michelin, member of Victor Baptist Church and veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. His first wife was the late Euva Lugenia Levi DeYoung.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Carter DeYoung of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Joey and Pamela DeYoung and Roger David DeYoung all of Greer; one daughter, Janet Melissa DeYoung of Greenville; one brother, Jewel DeYoung of Greer; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Victor Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Christopher DeYoung, Derek DeYoung, Joshua DeYoung, Bill Schmidt, Brian Hampton and Derek Logan.
Honorary escort will be the Men?s Bible Sunday School Class of Victor Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
The family is at their respective homes.
