Carl Rayford Smith, 84, husband of the late Kathleen Elizabeth Lawson Smith and Mildred McCall Smith, passed away May 27, 2019.

A native of Spartanburg County, a son of the late Thomas Aubrey and Mattie Lee Roddy Smith, he was a retired employee of Southern Weaving and a member of Pelham Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter, Terri Cantrell (Scottie) of Greer; one son, Jerry Smith of Greer; two sisters, Dean Robinson and Jean Usary both of Greer; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two stepsons, David and Donnie George; three brothers, T.H. Smith, Andrew Smith and Darrell Smith and two sisters, Ruth Duncan and Marion Williams.
