Raymond Porter 68, husband of Lenora M. Porter of 10 Valley Road, Apt. 4 died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at his residence.
Native of Spartanburg County, he was a son the late Matthew Moore and the late Violet Bobo Porter Penson. A former machine operator for Batchler & Blazer and a member of Greater St. James Temple in Inman, SC.
Surviving:
Also surviving are: brothers, Daniel Porter and Frank Moore; sisters, Mrs. Lois Harris, Mrs Mary Louise Miller, Mrs. Betty Ruth Miller, Ms. Alice Moore and Ms. Sarah Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2013 in Greater St. James Temple with Pastor James R. Landrum, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest cemetery.
