Rev. Abram Howard Smith, 92, of 135 Northwood Circle, died June 11, 2015 at his home.

A native of Pickens County, son of the late James Frank and Bernice Black Smith, he was a former minister at Lyman Wesleyan Church and Davis Chapel Wesleyan Church, a US Army WWII Veteran and a member of Davis Chapel Wesleyan Church, Spartanburg.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Lucille Gilliam Smith of the home; one son, Gene Howard Smith (Barbara) of Gastonia, NC; one daughter, Susan Lucille Smith of Woodruff; one brother, Rev. Homer Smith of Easley and one granddaughter, Lauren Smith of Gastonia, NC.

Rev. Smith was predeceased by three brothers, Elmer Smith, J.D. Smith and Melton Smith.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Ron Hamilton.

Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
