Rev. Ansel Earl Norris, 77, widower of Betty Ann Cox Norris, passed away on December 14, 2017.

A native of Pelham, son of the late John Earl and Millie Marie Brannon Norris, he was a proud retired Southern Baptist Minister and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Tamara Hammett (Sam) of Lyman and Tonya Smalley (Ronnie) of Wellford; one sister, Patsy Holmes (Dennis) of Greer; three grandchildren, D.J. Hammett, Chase Smalley and Chelsi Smalley; one great grandchild, Leslie Hammett and one special friend, Joyce Mayfield of Greer.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Burnsview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby, Rev. Lynn Gardner and Rev. Harold King.

Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bragg, Hunter Ross, Don Henson, Billy Gwinn, Dean Norris and Harold Benenhaley.

Attending ministers will serve as honorary escort.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The families are at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children?s Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648.
