Rex Edwin Berner, 91, widower of Margaret Williams Berner, passed away
December 10, 2021.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Rex and Frances Plzak Berner, he was
a retired employee of American General Insurance Company, a U.S. Army veteran
of the Korean War, served in the National Guard in Mississippi for several years,
and was a member of Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church.

Rex was a Boy Scout Assistant Leader for 50 years and proudly received the Silver Beaver Award.

Surviving:

Surviving is one daughter, Pamela Jean Berner Knorr of Greer.

He was also predeceased by one son, Louis Edwin Berner; two brothers, Jack
Berner and Donald Berner; and two sisters, Lois Lopez and Julia Landwehr.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services with military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December
17, 2021, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Deon Louw.

The family is at the home.

The family would like to thank the Knorr Family and Dempsey Family for their love
and support of Rex and Margaret.
