Robert Donald "Don" Cannon, Sr., 78, passed away December 27, 2022.

A native of Greer and raised in the home of his grandmother, Deloney Cannon, he was a son of the late Drayton Pressley Cannon and Ada Elanore Davis Sission.

He was a retired employee of Helton's Body Shop and a former employee of Sanitary Plumbing and Heating.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Raymond Lewis Cannon of Piedmont and Drayton Pressley Cannon of Pelzer; a daughter, Carol Ann Cannon of Welch, West Virginia; 13 grandchildren, Ashton Costagliola, Alicia Faulks, Deanna Cannon, Christopher Cannon, Jacklynn Smith, Tyler Roark, Dylan Cannon, Amy Cannon, Faith Snead, Jonathan Snead, Stephanie Cannon, Robert Cannon, and Brandon Cannon; and eight great-grandchildren, Waylon Roark , Katana Slagle, Maurice Hayes, Giovanni Hayes, Xavier Hayes, Aiko Bestick, Brooklyn Rose Costagliola, and Richard Cannon.

He was predeceased by one son, Robert Donald Cannon, Jr., a brother, James Leonard Cannon, and four sisters, Carolyn Ann Cannon, Virginia Lee Cannon Haney, Elanore Josephine Cannon Cline, and Nellie Deloney Cannon Ledford.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
