Robert Leon Leonard, 77, went home to be with his Lord on July 27, 2022.

A native of Spartanburg, son of the late Roy J. and Viola Elizabeth Hood Leonard, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired salesman for Welders Supply, and a member of Bellview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Jessie Katherine Mahaffey Leonard of the home; five stepchildren, Debbie Jones of Greer, Kathy Jones of Greer, Tim Jones (Melissa) of Westminster, Johnny Jones (Lori) of Spartanburg, and Stanley Wright of Boiling Springs; three sisters, Carolyn Neely (Harold), Brenda Fowler (Terry), and Linda Fowler (Ted) all of Greer; seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Chris, Kaci, Matt, Jennifer, Dustin, and Heather; nine-great-grandchildren, Chasity, Skylar, Livi, Dayton, Lila, James, Lyndon, Kelsey, and Miles; nine nieces and nephews, Debbie Bridgeman (Mark) of Greer, Mike Neely (Carol) of Greer, Craig Neely (Tonya) of Greer, Robbie Leonard (Paula) of Greer, Chris Leonard (Amy) of Greer, April Huttunen of Simpsonville, Andy Fowler (Alison) of Greer, Brent Fowler of Greer, and Kent Fowler (Misty) of Simpsonville; 10 great nieces and nephews, Kayla Pennington (Zach) of Virginia, Zach Bridgemen of Simpsonville, Matt Neely of Lyman, Allison Stacey (Ted) of Colorado, Brad Leonard of Greer, Derek Leonard of Greer, Adam Leonard of Inman, Blake Leonard of Greer, Reagan Leonard of Greer, Nikolai Huttunen of Simpsonville, Blake Fowler of Greer, Jake Fowler of Greer, and Melody Burns of Mauldin; and one sister-in-law, Margaret Leonard of Greer.

He was also predeceased by one brother, Ed Leonard and two stepchildren, Brian Jones and Craig Wright.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022, at Bellview Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Carey Caldwell.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park in Duncan, S.C.

Visitation will be held 6 ? 8 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
