Robert Searcy, Jr., 82, passed away November 16, 2022.

A native of Greer, son of the late Robert and Minnie Ruth Pollard Searcy, he was a member of Praise Cathedral.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Anderson Searcy of the home; four daughters, Tonya Ward (Jeff) of Greer, Wendy Newton (Don) of Garden City, Nina Miller (Jackie) of Hartsville, and Kim Murchinson (William) of Georgia; 10 grandchildren, Heath Ward, Jared Ward, Landon Ward, Seth Ward, Mallory Wiggins (Travis), Austin Freeman (Kirstie), Kathryn Starling (Brian), Jaclyn Tiller (Justin), Tryston Searcy, and Kristen Kim (Mike); and five great-grandchildren, Sydney, Alyssa, Amelia, Fulton, and Madelyn.

Mr. Searcy was predeceased by a son, Shane Searcy and a brother, Marshall Searcy.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Praise Cathedral conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden, Pastor Brent Raines, and Pastor Bobby Johnson.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
