Ruby Hammett Garrett, 90, widow of John Paul Garrett, passed away January 22, 2019.

A native of Spartanburg, daughter of the late Claude H. and Nora Lee Hudgins Hammett, she was a retired employee of Phillips Fibers and a member of Jackson Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Kevin Lee Garrett, Sr. (Lori) of Boiling Springs and John Richard Garrett of Wellford; a daughter, Linda Garrett Darby of Spartanburg; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Garrett was predeceased by two brothers, Ken Hammett and Joe Hammett and two sisters, Kathleen Brian and Mary Hammett.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Harold Johnson.

Burial will follow in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
