Lena Ruthell Wood Barnett, 84, widow of Herman E. Barnett, passed away May 10, 2019.

A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late George and Ruth Edwards Wood, she was a former employee of Walmart and a member of O'Neal Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter, Connie Ramsey of Greer; one sister, Emma Hester of Greer; 3 grandchildren, Rock Smith of Piedmont, Brandy Darnell of Greer and Jerry Ramsey of Taylors and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Randy Barnett; one daughter, Betty Lou Barnett; three brothers, Jack Wood, Stanley Wood and Othel Wood and one sister, Evelyn Cross.

Funeral Services:

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Wayne Davis.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service Monday at the mortuary.
