Sarah Louise Edwards Babb, 87, widow of Clinton Odell Babb, died August 4, 2013 at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Esley C. and Maggie Radford Edwards, she was a retired employee of Steel Heddle for 35 years, a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving:

Surviving is three daughters and son-in-law, Jeanette B. Williams of Taylors, Linda B. Lister of Lyman and Donna B. and Russell Wilson of Greer; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Barbara Babb of Lexington; one sister, Frances E. Yearwood of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Valarie W. and Roan Southerlin, Allison W. and Charles Farmer, Darin Lister, Travis and Heather Lister, Heather S. and Mark Gordon, Joshua and Jaime Wilson and Clayton Wilson and eight great-grandchildren, Sierra and Taylor Farmer, Sydney and Marissa Southerlin, Sarah Beth and Gray Lister, Jameson Wilson and Madison Gordon.

Mrs. Babb was predeceased a brother, James W. Edwards and a sister, Hazel E. Cannon.


Funeral Services:

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Dr. Edenfield and his staff.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. John Sullivan, Dr. Bill McManus and Rev. David Boyter. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Darin Lister, Travis Lister, Joshua Wilson, Clayton Wilson, Roan Sutherlin and Charles Farmer.

Honorary escort will be the Ruth Bible Class and Faith Sunday School class.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
