Sarah Forrester Reid, 92, widow of Fred Mack Reid, passed away Nov. 8, 2018.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Alex and Beulah Crain Forrester, she was a retired employee of Homelite and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Shaw of Greer; a son, Wayne Reid of Simpsonville; and two grandsons, Stewart Shaw and Justin Reid.
Mrs. Reid was predeceased by a brother, Harold Dean Forrester and a sister, Carolyn W. Perry.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ronnie Williams and Rev. Joe Seay. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hammett, Harvey Kennedy, Glen Forrester, Danny Crain, Stewart Shaw and Joey Jones.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
