Sarah Wilanna Watson Tripp, 90, widow of Clarence Lester Tripp, passed away November 4, 2018.

A native of Hendersonville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Verner Tobe and Mamie Stancil Watson, she was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Sara Jean "Jeannie" Tripp of the home and Julia Ann Cappelmann of Sumter; a son, Kenneth Earl Tripp (Zoe) of Orangeburg; one sister, Winnifred Bruce of Aiken; nine grandchildren, Tige Tripp, Laura Carlstrom, Justin Cappelmann, Kristen Gallman, Tripp Cappelmann, Tyler Cappelmann, Sarah Katy Cappelmann, Hunter Cappelmann; and Noah Tripp and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Clarence L. Tripp, Jr., a brother, Arvyn Watson and one sister, Eleanor Griffith.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Ralph Carter.

Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.
