Shirley Ann Chesher Taylor, 72, of 3513 Hwy 414, died May 25, 2014 at Hospice House of Laurens County.

A native of Danville, VA, daughter of the late Garland Chesher and Lillie Mae Durham Snead, she was a homemaker.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, J.B. Taylor of the home; five sons, Alan Boyter (Becky) of Centerville, IA, Wesley Boyter (Connie) of Savannah, GA, Tony Boyter (Arlene) of Roebuck, Bo Boyter of Mauldin and James Taylor (Dee) of Greer; two daughters, Ginger Chesher of Danville, VA and Donna Stokes of Inman; one sister, Louise Wheatley of Danville, VA; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by a son, Tim Taylor and a sister Hazel Stephenson.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Pastor Michael Boyter.

Burial will follow in Highland Baptist Church cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary.
