Mary Sue Burns Howard, 81, widow of Bobby Lee Howard, passed away February 17, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Daniel Braman and Elvenia Pace Burns, she was a homemaker and a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Joe Howard (Teresa) of Greer and Jerry Howard (Sherri) of Travelers Rest; two daughters, Vicky Graydon (Leon) of Greer and Tammy Walker (Mark) of Powdersville; a brother, Steve Burns; two sisters, Judy Robertson and Debbie Owens (Julian); seven grandchildren, Tyler Graydon, Crystal Blankenship (Jack), Brittany Stage (Adam), Kayla Graham (Brandon), Andy Howard, Brandon Howard (Olivia) and Colby Howard (Adison); and seven great-grandchildren, Jack, Easton, Bodie, Kaleb, Lincoln, Kadyn and Raelynn.

Mrs. Howard was predeceased by four brothers, Herman Burns, Cooper Burns, Bill Burns and Ray Burns and two sisters, Betty Childress and Barbara Odom.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Cross Plains Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Dennis Jones and Rev. Keith Kelly.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and great-grandchildren will serve as honorary escorts.

Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church.

The body will lie in state 3:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Vicky Graydon.
