Thomas James Robertson, 81, of 208 St. Croix Court, died September 15, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

A native of Mountain View, Georgia, son of the late J. Luther and Catherine Walker Robertson.

James was employed by Gulf in Atlanta, Houston, Pittsburgh and back to Houston. Chevron purchased Gulf in 1985 and Danville, CA was home until retirement in 1992 to Greer.

He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Susan Polanek Robertson of the home; three sons, Brian Robertson of Concord, CA, Neil Robertson of St. Louis, MO and Glenn Robertson and his wife Marlene of Thousand Oaks, CA; one brother Roy Robertson and his wife Gail of Hiawassee, GA and one brother-in-law Peter Polanek and his wife Kathie of Hay Market, VA.

Funeral Services:

Visitation will be held 2:00-2:45 p.m. Wednesday at Double Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Double Springs Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Keith Mincey.

Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at College Park Cemetery, College Park, GA.

In lieu of flowers and food, memorials may be made to Double Springs Baptist Church, 3800 Locust Hill Road, Taylors, S.C. 29687 or a Pay it Forward good deed.

The family is at the home.
