Thelma Blackwell Davis, 99, widow of Thomas Holtzclaw Davis, died August 4, 2014 at The Cottages at Brushy Creek.

A native of Rutherford County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Dock and Lela Cochrum Blackwell, she was a retired employee of Fiber Industries and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Suzanne Bradburn (Steve) of Greer; one sister, Ruby McCraw of Greer; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Kylie Bradburn.

Mrs. Davis was predeceased by three brothers, Rufus Blackwell, George Blackwell and Clarence Blackwell and four sisters, Beatrice Plemmons, Mildred Dunlap, Agnes Sizemore and Lorene.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ralph Mays.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her niece, Connie Cox.
