Thomas Carl Blackwell, 50, of Duncan, died Friday, August 29, 2014 at Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Blackwell was the husband of Carrie Anne Blackwell and was the son of Jean Hoard Blackwell and the late Hartford Blackwell.

Mr. Blackwell was captain and shift supervisor at Pelham-Batesville Fire Dept. He was a member of Startex United Methodist Church and a member of Urban Search and Rescue.

Surviving:

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Megan Blackwell; a son, Jesse Blackwell, and two grandchildren, Zachary and Lucas Covington; a sister, Debbie Hyatt and her husband Frank, their children Will Hyatt and Jake Ravan, his wife Lauren and their daughter Bella Grace Wells; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mauney; a brother-in-law, Brandt Thompson and his children Alex and Ashley.

Funeral Services:

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Sunday August 31, 2014 at Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 1, at Pelham First Baptist Church, 2720 Old Hwy. 14, Greer, officiated by Chaplain Gary Rogers and followed by interment in Wood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303.

The family will be at the home.
