Virgil Leon Cannon, 76, passed away November 30, 2017.

A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Russell Byars and Genell Smith Cannon and his stepfather, Lewis Cannon, and owner and operator of Cannon?s Restaurant and Cannon?s Lakes.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Scotty Cannon (Amanda) of Lyman; three grandsons, Scott Cannon (Atalie), Brandon Cannon (Brittany) and Destin Nix; one great-granddaughter, Gibson Asbell; three great-grandsons, Brice and Brix Cannon and Brock Trammell and a sister, Linda Inabinet (Buddy) of Duncan.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Todd Johnson.

Visitation will be held 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
