William Carl "HD" Miles, 73, passed away January 23, 2019.

A native of Dillon county, son of the late Rupert Carl and Evelyn Smith Miles, he was a former employee of Blanchard Machinery, a former Green Beret in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.

William loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles and loved his dog Zoe.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Donna Herd Miles of the home; five daughters, Lisa Harvey (William) of Spartanburg, Kristy Stoudenmire of Greer, Michelle Satterfield of Greer, Marie Lark (Mike) of Cross Hill and Marlo Freeman (Sid) of Hendersonville, NC; two brothers, Milton Miles (Joyce) and Mickey Miles (Betty Ann) all of Dillon; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Miles was predeceased by two brothers, Galen Miles and Jimmy Miles.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
