Logan Phillips was crowned Miss Spartanburg Methodist College Saturday night at the SMC pageant. Phillips, a sophomore is from Blacksburg.

Logan Phillips, a sophomore from Blacksburg, was selected Miss Spartanburg Methodist College in a pageant at SMC last weekend. Phillips will represent SMC in the Miss South Carolina pageant in Columbia in July.

Phillips is the daughter of Randy and Julie Phillips and a graduate of Blacksburg High School.

Allisha Fewell, a sophomore from Rock Hill, was first runner up. She is the daughter of Maurice and Angela Fewell and a graduate of Rock Hill High School. Brittany Moore, a freshman from Union, and the daughter of Robbie and Sharon Moore was named second runnerup. Moore is a graduate of Union County High School.

Contestants competed in five categories: Preliminary interview, lifestyle and fitness, talent, evening wear, and on-stage interview.
