Rebuild Upstate board elects new officers

The Rebuild Upstate Board has elected its 2018 officers to help guide the Upstate nonprofit that has repaired and rehabilitated more than 600 homes of low-income residents in the past decade.

Steven Edward Buckingham, a local attorney, will serve as chairman, John Boyanoski will serve as vice-chair, and Chris Manley will serve as secretary.

Buckingham is a trial lawyer and mediator with the Law Office of Steven Edward Buckingham, and is a previous chair of the Julie Valentine Center board. He also serves on the Greenville Chamber’s Board of Directors, and is on the board of Leadership South Carolina.

Boyanoski is the owner of Complete Public Relations, and brings a wealth of volunteer experience including being former chairman of PULSE and The Greenville Zoo Foundation. He also serves on the Greenville Chamber Board of Advisors and The Children’s Museum of the Upstate board.

Manley is the founder of Rebuild Upstate and serves as its President/CEO. He also is the CEO of Engenius, a Greenville-based web design and marketing company. Manley also has served as the national chairman for the Reframe Association and the chair of the Greenville Nonprofit Alliance.

Burgess Metcalf has served two years as chairman and will continue to serve on the board. Previously, Buckingham served one year as vice-chair.
