Regal reopening theaters Aug. 21 with COVID-19 guidelines

Regal announced that it would be reopening locations starting Aug. 21 and masks will be required in the lobby, hallways, and restroom locations.  Patrons are able to remove them while eating or drinking in the auditorium — anytime at the move or the entire movie. 

Employees are required to wear masks, undergo daily health screenings and wash their hands every 30 minutes.

It will be contactless payment only and limited menu items will be servee, with self-serve stations closed. Every other cash register will be empty.

Dispensable hand sanitizer and greeters will aid guests are following proper guidelines. The maximum capacity of the auditoriums will be reduced by 50% — when the county or state guidelines mandate. The auditoriums will be sanitized after each screening.
