Bunny Richardson, a member of the Greater Greer Education Foundation, was presented an award as a "Friend Of Five" by District Five Superintendent Scott Turner tonight at the district's school board meeting in Duncan.

Bunny Richardson received a “Friend Of Five” recognition award tonight at the District Five school board meeting in Duncan.

Richardson, a Greater Greer Education Foundation board member, received the award from District Five Superintendent Scott Turner. The award is in recognition of Richardson’s support for District Five projects.

The award reads: “In appreciation and dedicated service to District Five Schools we are proud to honor Bunny Richardson as a Friend of Five.”

Turner told District Five board members, “Bunny worked behind the scene to get District Five heavily involved in the Greater Greer Education Foundation.”

Richardson, Internal Communications Specialist for BMW Manufacturing Co. in Greer, said, “Everything I do, I do for BMW. District Five has had a positive impact on BMW. Richardson has announced her retirement from BMW.

Foundation Board Chairman Margaret Burch and board members Lauri Ashmore and Nancy Welch attended the presentation. Board Executive Secretary Gloria Fair also attended.
