Austin Riggins of Riverside High School has signed to play baseball with Penn State University.

Riggins has played centerfield for the Warriors the past two seasons.

During the junior season, Riggins made the 2014 All-Region II AAAA team. He batted .317, had nine runs batted in and scored 12 runs.

"Austin covers a lot of ground defensively," said Travis Pitman, Riverside baseball coach. "Austin has been and will continue to be a big part of Riverside’s success both offensively and defensively."
