Riverside boys fall short in consolation championship game

Riverside came up just short in the Purple bracket championship game as Archbishop Carroll of Washington, D.C., beat the Warriors 56-54 at the Linburg Moody Holiday Basketball Classic at Northwestern High School Monday. Riverside finished 2-2 in the tournament.

Riverside led early in the first quarter but fell behind and could only pull to within one point late in the game.

Allen Caldwell took game-high scoring honors with 19 points for the Warriors. 

The Warriors are 7-3.
