Riverside High School collected $75,000 during Spirit Week. RHS students and faculty participated in fundraising activities while staying focused on the goal of helping the campers at Camp Courage.

November Warriors of the Month

The following freshmen were named Warriors of the Month for the month of November:

Sebastian Alvarado, Creighton Boyd, Evan Buki, Emily Delperdang, Patricia Dickey, Michael Gallagher, Fulton Garner, Mary Beth Green, Alina Khan, Alexandra Lanning, Gabrielle Laymon, Carter Marchbanks, Allison O'Toole, Jayshon Perkins, Alexis Robinson, Susanna Rogers, Kate Roney, Lucia Spencer, Lauren Stanton, Cole Taylor, Cam Viney, Natalie Williams and Aliva Zadeh.

The students were nominated by their Teachers for showing true Warrior Spirit in and outside of the classroom. They will attend a luncheon in their honor and also receive certificates.

Cross Country awards

In Boys Cross County, 4A, Kyle Mook is All-State.

In Girls Cross Country, Cate Ambrose is 4A State Champion.

Cate Ambrose, Ashley Fallow, Carter Marchbanks, Jessie Crowley Emma Spencer were named to All-State team.

Coach Cummings was named 4A Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year.

The Girls Cross Country Team was voted Milesplit National Team of the Week. Riverside is the only team to win this twice this season.

Atlas Club celebrates Dia de los Muertos

The Riverside High School Atlas Club celebrated Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a twist. The traditional Mexican holiday celebrates the memory of those who have died.

Atlas welcomed staff and students to remember their loved ones by decorating the petal of a flower. Rest in peace was written in all of the languages spoken by students at Riverside.
