The Riverside boys and girls won the state Class AAAAA swim championships Friday at the University of South Carolina Natatorium. It was the boys fourth consecutive state championship.
The Riverside boys accumulated 427 points to outdistance runnerup Wando with 360.
The Riverside girls, with 12 state champions, earned 457 points. Fort Mill was runnerup with 299 points.
Riverside boys coach Eddie Hughes was named the state boys swimming coach of the year by the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association.
