Riverside teacher to head state track and cross country association

Erric Cummings, a teacher at Riverside High School, will serve a two-year term as president of the S.C. Track and Cross Country Coaches Association for 2012-2013.

Erric Cummings, teacher at Riverside High school will serve a two year term as president of the S.C. Track & Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2012-13 school year. 

This organization includes every high school in South Carolina that is a member of the S.C. High School League. 

As president, Cummings oversees all cross country and track & field conferences, business meetings and finances. Along with these responsibilities, he will take charge of the Coaches Classic Track Meet (the largest cross country meet in the state) and the S.C. State Track & Field Championships for all classifications. 

Cummings served as Vice President of the SC Track & Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2008-10 school years. This is his second term as president.
