Martin Miller from The Image Forge in downtown Greer talked to Ken Morrill's Media, Visual Arts, and Design class about the graphic design field and careers in graphic design.
The students learned about creating designs according to customer specifications, sustainable packaging, and current trends in graphic design.

Richane Robbins' sixth-grade science classes participated in a plant structure lab recently.
The students got hands-on lessons in the structure of the plants to enhance their understanding of the subject. Students said this was one of their favorite science lessons.
Lunch and Learn Program
Joy Simonis from the BMW Assembly Planning Process, Methods, and Systems Development Group was the first speaker for the RMS Lunch and Learn program.
Simonis was one of the first employees hired at the BMW plant in 1993 and shared her expertise about the changing business world.
The students learned about the importance of learning another language, logistics behind making cars on an assembly line, and working with people around the world.
