In addition to the drive through the displays with thousands of lights, visitors may park their cars and stroll through Winter Wonderland. Santa will be there through Dec. 24, a mailbox for letters to Santa and his elves, 25 giant holiday cards created by local school art classes, a gift shop and concessions.
Selected evenings will have mascots Cocky, the Tiger, Reedy Rip’It, and Rowdy – or feature the singing of local school choir groups. There will also be three Dog Nights in December when visitors are invited to bring their dogs and walk through Winter Wonderland.
Admission is $10 per auto or SUV, $20 for an activity van, or $40 for a bus. Proceeds are distributed to Rotary charities for local distribution and the Roper Mountain Science Center Association.
Over the past 20 years, Holiday Lights has given over $1.8 million to the community.
Roper Mountain Holiday Lights is at 402 Roper Mountain Road.
