The eastbound lane of Highway 80 at Highway 290 going into Lyman will be closed Friday evening at 6 p.m. until Monday morning, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
The 14-mile detour route, which will include Highway 101, I-85 and US 29, has signs in place to alert drivers, according to the SCDOT.
The SCDOT stated that crews will be making repairs to the Highway 290 overpass.
