Seattle's defense also made a winner of Greer's Pride in contest
Angela Pride of Greer won the GreerToday.com “Guess The Score” of the 2014 Super Bowl contest and a $50 gift card to Ryan’s.

Pride picked the Seattle Seahawks to beat the Denver Broncos. Pride’s score, 28-17, was the closest and the highest points differential of the Facebook entries. Seattle won, 43-8.

The overwhelming majority picked Denver to beat Seattle, mostly because of quarterback Peyton Manning and some loyalists siding with Broncos head coach John Fox, who also coached the Carolina Panthers.

“I know about the game of football and had no problem picking Seattle. I just thought they were the better team,” Pride said.

Pride said she watches football games with her husband and has picked up the nuances through the years.

“I am a defensive kind of football fan,” said Pride. “I enjoy defensive schemes and liked what Seattle had. I think Seattle caught Denver off guard coming off the ball.”

Pride is the third winner of the Ryan’s gift card promotion partnered with GreerToday.com.

Ryan’s is also launching a kid’s superheroes promotion, “Herotopia”, on Family Nights beginning Thursday. Kids also eat for 99 cents, two kids per paying adult.
