Visitation has been scheduled for a 15-year-old motorcyclist who was killed Sunday night.

Christian Scott Belue, a student at Greer High School, was involved in a traffic collision Sunday night at E. Wade Hampton Blvd. and Arlington Road and died as a result of his injuries.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at The Wood Mortuary.

Belue was traveling E. Wade Hampton Blvd. when a 17 year-old female driving a 2008 Mercedes turned left onto E. Wade Hampton Blvd. in front of the motorcycle, according to Greer police.

Belue reportedly was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and had a beginner’s permit driver’s license that allowed him to drive until 8 p.m.

Police reported it is believed that Belue was crossing over E. Wade Hampton Blvd. at approximately 7:36 p.m. when a 2008 Mercedes, driven by a 17 year-old female, turned left onto E. Wade Hampton Blvd in front of the motorcyclist.

The driver of the Mercedes was issued a citation for failure to yield right-of-way on left turn.
