Allen Smith, Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, has been named to the board of directors of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
His term formally begins at the ACCE’s annual convention next week in Nashville, Tenn.
Long an active member of ACCE, Smith earned the professional organization’s Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) certification in 2012 while president at the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. The CCE is the only national designation for Chamber of Commerce professionals.
