The Southern Dance Connection dancers, who earned placements in the latest competition, decided to forego their trophies and pay the cost forward with a donation to the Wounded Warriors.
“They had a great competition and received numerous overall and special judges awards,” said Lindsay Roberts, the director of the Greer dance studio.
Some of the dancers who will be participating in the 2013 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade were among the winners.
