Spa Victoria has scheduled its grand opening for Friday.

Spa Victoria has opened for business with some of the past ownership of the former Victoria Place Salon & Spa at 120 Victoria Street.

Gretchen Lampinen has reopened the unique spa that offers women and men services. Customers are received by appointment only. The grand opening is scheduled Friday.
A hair stylist, two estheticians and a masseuse are on staff.

The salon offers engagement, shower and bridal party accommodations.

The spa’s re-opening is another plus for Greer’s downtown rejuvenation, Reno Deaton, economic development executive director, said. “We have visitors coming to visit downtown and a spa is one of the things they ask about.”

Victoria Place Salon and Spa closed in May 2010. The building was marketed to sell but there were no takers. The two-story salon and spa remained in its original shape with its hair, massage, facial, water therapy and other rooms basically intact.

The spa is open Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. It’s closed on Sunday and Monday and holidays.
