The 2013 Greater Greer Education Gala will be held Oct. 26, a Saturday night, and will again feature the Swingin’ Medallions. The band was such a huge success last year, the Foundation decided an encore performance was in order.
The Foundation’s annual fundraising event will be held at the Cannon Centre on Cannon Street in Greer. The time will be announced later.
Proceeds from the gala will be dispersed in grants to schools, teachers, students and worthy educational programs in the Greater Greer area.
Contributions are carefully used to benefit hundreds of students and educators in the Greater Greer community.
