Friends and family of Sylvia Holtzclaw started the annual toy drive in 2003.

The 14th Annual Syl Syl Christmas Toy Drive will be held Sunday, Nov. 12, 2-4  p.m. at the Clock Restaurant at 603 W. Poinsett Drive.

The toy drive is in honor of Sylvia Holtzclaw, created by family and friends, after she was inside the Blue Ridge Savings Bank in 2003. A USC Upstate professor and his wife were also killed in the unsolved case.

New unwrapped toys are brought to the Clock and then distributed to children of less fortunate families. The toy drive benefits Cops for Tots and Country Santa.

Monetary donations may be made at the Greer Police Department.
