Tankers on Trade auction raises $850 for museum

The Tankers on Trade silent auction raised $850 for the Heritage Museum, the Greer Station Association announced today.

Businesses taking home the prized tankers and the cars’ names are:

• D&D Ford, “Your Good Ol’ Days Dealer”

• Greer Memorial Hospital, “Exploring the Depths of Pediatrics”

• Greer Audiology, “Greer’s Graphically Groovin’ Tanker

• Langford Electric, “Southern Tradition”

• Sidney Locke, BB&T’s “A Constant Beacon of Light & Assurance Since 1872”

The tankers were auctioned at the annual Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce Oyster Roast.

Cabooses are the theme for this year’s railroad cars. GSA will announce when they are finished for public viewing.
