Festivals, strategic planning including arts, walking and bicycling plus news and features, and even a coloring book, is featured in the city’s Team Greer Annual Report.

The informative story and photo package, produced by the Greer Communications staff can be found online in an interactive flip book, with increasing type size, that may be read online or downloaded as a PDF or printed from either version.

The 46-page, 2015 comprehensive report will include among its content:

• Boss and Stryker are community ambassadors as well as canine partners for Greer’s finest.

• Police simulate events in a virtual environment.

• A teen male and female Youth Citizen Police Academy was launched with capacity classes.

• City retail sales set a new benchmark – $1 billion.

• The strategic 2030 Master Plan is already planting roots.

• Festivals are a-plenty celebrating culture, armed services heroes and the holiday season.

• Quality of life with city parks are converging with walking and bicycling trails.

• A partnership with the S.C. Attorney General establishes a domestic violence court between Greer and Simpsonville municipalities.

• A coloring book for children, in its second printing, is a novel way to learn about city services and public safety officers.
