Former Greer High School standout and Notre Dame star safety Troy Pride, Jr., has been drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Pride brings speed, youth and his aggressive style of playing defense to the Panthers. Carolina has been focusing on defense in the draft.
Pride, 5-11, 193 pounds totaled 121 tackles, four interceptions, and 18 passes defended. Pride's speed was also beneficial as a track standout with Notre Dame.
Pending when the NFL begins it summer drills, the Upstate can see Pride practices with the Panthers at their summer camp a Wofford College.
