Jonathan Lovegrove from Greer was among the finalists from a Land’s End promotion seeking to become a meteorologist for a day. It’s been Jonathan’s young dream to be on TV to present the weather.
Jonathan’s essay earned a Skype interview – to determine his poise/public speaking skills, love of meteorology and creativity – with the judging panel. The semifinalists needed to perform the weather script provided.
During Jonathan’s Skype interview he mentioned that Chris Justus was his local inspiration. Justus sent Jonathan a supportive video and invited him to visit on June 28.
