Washington Center’s annual spring plant sale is open to the public.
The students participate in plant growth and care as part of the school’s Adapted Environmental Science Curriculum.
The greenhouse is full of flowers such as impatiens, petunias, lantana, geranium and hanging baskets. Vegetables include tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, squash and zucchini.
Proceeds from the sales are recycled back in to the school’s greenhouse program.
For more plant sale information and hours, please call 355-0250 or visit the school at 2 Betty Spencer Drive, Greenville.
