Washington Center student Ezra Reese is pictured during Special Olympic competition at Furman University.
Following the Parade of the Athletes and Opening Ceremonies, students participated in events and Olympic Town fun.
In addition to field events, the students competed in Developmental Games which included Beach Ball Drop, Bean Bag Drop, Bowling, Basketball Throw, Frog Leap, Parachute Play and Tire Toss.
Volunteers from Riverside High School assisted their Washington Center buddy during the day. Each student was awarded medals for their inspiring skills and determination.
